Lead ABAP Developer (with CPI Integration Experience): (Christchurch)

We are currently looking for a Lead ABAP Developer. This role offers an excellent local salary and the chance to work for a phenomenal team. Core Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and or developing custom code in the SAP system utilizing current technologies and methodology  
• Be involved in Integration projects using SAP CPI. Up-skilling can be provided if required.
• Actively participating in custom code reviews, in line with agreed standards, adhering to security policies and ensuring appropriate escalation processes are in place for all
• Monitoring SAP system errors, batch jobs and external interfaces as required and analyzing and rectifying programme performance issues
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the application support function by maintaining awareness of technology developments and making appropriate recommendations to enhance application services.

Core Skills Required:

• At least 8 years SAP Development experience
• A strong ability to design, build, test and support SAP technical solutions.
• Strong ABAP programming with additional skill set of Adobe Forms and Fiori.
• Well versed in Performance optimization guidelines for ABAP
• Expertise in one or multiple functional modules from programming perspective.
• HANA experience is required.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
