We see each assignment as a transfer of responsibility from our client to us, thus we maintain a sense of importance and quality of service. Our consultants are selected from specific industry disciplines to ensure that we offer the highest quality of service, meeting our client's requirements. Most importantly, we believe in building relationships with our clients by earning their trust, with confidentiality uppermost in our minds. Morgan Campbell's ultimate goal is to become a true partner with our clients as we progress. The Search Process Understanding the Client. As a first step, we aim to know our client. As soon as a client engages our services for a candidate "search" we will perform a detailed study of the organization, corporate culture, and management style. If necessary, our consultant will visit your company to build a thorough picture of how your business and team operate. Preparation of the position description. We will assist in defining the responsibilities and core competencies of the position relating to the present and future needs of the role within the client company. At this point, we aim to have a clear understanding of the history, culture and objectives of the client to enable us to locate the most suitably qualified candidate. Advising the client about current We will offer advice on current market rates, and the likely availability of the type of professional in the market. Defining the "ideal" candidate profile. We will then prepare a profile of the "ideal" candidate to use as the foundation of our search. This profile will include all relevant factors and criteria such as present and past work experience, academic background, remuneration package, and the ideal competencies to form the basis of the search process. Classification of target group. We will then identify and highlight those companies comparable to the client's organization to enable us to locate and source the right kind of individual. We will agree with clients from the outset which candidate sources are off-limits for a particular assignment. These may include "sister" companies, companies with "restraint" relationships with the client, and individuals previously placed by Morgan Campbell in their current company. Process of search and selection. A systematic search process is carried out with the utmost care and discretion to protect the confidentiality of both client and candidate. The search and selection process starts by using Morgan Campbell's proven recruitment techniques.
Once we have identified a shortlist of potential candidates, we will conduct in-depth interviews to ascertain suitability. Through competency based and behavioral type questioning, we will build a profile of the candidate's key strengths and identify possible areas for development. An essential part of this process is to identify the compatibility of the candidate with the client's organization. Shortlist presentation. We will then submit a final shortlist of candidates. We will also provide relevant information and feedback from their competency based interview. We will then advise on the candidate's overall suitability, taking into account factors such as availability, salary expectation and motivation for joining the client. Arrangement of interviews. We will assist in coordinating interviews between the client and candidate. An itinerary will be submitted if the interview is to be conducted in another country. Reference Checking and Testing. We will conduct formal reference checks and may engage in informal reference checking through our industry contacts. Psychometric and/or skill-based testing may be carried out at the client's request. The offer-making process. We will assist during the process of making a formal offer to a candidate, offering advice on issues such as remuneration, benefits, bonuses, incentives and any other relevant issue that will lead to the successful placement of the candidate with the client. On going service & support. We will monitor the successful candidate's performance during the initial stages of the placement, helping to assist with orientation and adaptation. We will offer advice and consultation, as required. |
