We are looking for a SAP Pre-Sales Architect with a passion for playing with the latest SAP technology and building Demos and responding to RFP’s.

Working as a key member of the Customer Solutions team, This is an exciting role which will see you providing a high level of expertise, working on requests from clients and building demos that reflect clearly what the solution can do, what SAP can do, and the future of SAP functionality will allow for.

This role requires a high level of expertise across the SAP suite.

 

Our guess is that you will have a strong Finance background, but this certainly not mandatory. But we are definitely looking for someone with a thorough understanding of how SAP works together across all of the various suite of applications. So, you must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the SAP Suite of applications.

 

This role will in many ways be a critical ‘behind the scenes’ role – you won’t be involved in day to day implementations, but you will be playing with the latest and greatest tech SAP products and developments, seeing how they work and working with Solution Architects to help them present to Customers.

Therefore a passion for SAP and it’s evolution is essential.

 

You will advise the Sales / Bid team on the overall solution and complete (and coordinate) solution responses alongside a Bid Manager and Account Manager.

You need to be able to conceptualise, validate and develop complementary go to market (GTM) offerings e.g. packaged services, accelerators, solutions in conjunction with Sales & Marketing team.

You will present your solutions, ensuring appropriate demo systems are available, fit for purpose, and kept up to date.

This will also be a high impact role with lots of variety and short/sharp deadlines – eg 2-3 days to build a demo for customer X means that you will love the thrill of a fast turnaround, rather than delivering a year-long project.

Some occasional travel is needed, but not a huge amount.

Core Requirements:

  1. Strong Pre-Sales, Demo building Experience from a Consulting Organization.
  2. A strong knowledge of SAP and its range of product suites and how they interact with each other. Solid understanding of Finance is essential for this role.
  3. A passion for delivering short sharp projects rather than long drawn out projects.
  4. A strong advisory background with an ability to present ideas well and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  5. Strong RFI, RFP, EOI experience and a natural ability to capture requirements and put these into a demo.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
